It aligns itself with the Islamic State organisation, and calls itself 'Group of the People of Sunnah for Preaching and Jihad' ('sunnah' being the teachings, etc., of the prophet Muhammad). The name commonly used in the West is usually translated to mean 'Western education is forbidden'
